Birding Tours within Zhemgang

1. Note Nuthatch: Tingtibe - Zhemgang

Birding from Tingtibe(600m)-Zhemgang(1900m) requires a travel of 34km, and it will cover subtropical and warm broadleaf forests. You will do birding in sub-tropical broadleaved forest towards north of Tingtibe and return back to the camp site in the evening. For the day, you will see birds such as White-browed Scimitar Babbler, Rusty-checked Scimitar Babbler, Great Hornbill, Rufous-necked Hornbill, Beautiful Nuthatch, Black Bulbul, White-bellied Heron, Barred Cuckoo Dove, Black Drongo, Fulvous-breasted Woodpecker, Chestnut-bellied Nuthatch, Spankled Drongo, Lesser Racket-tailed Drongo, Greater Necklaced Laughingthrush, White-throated Bulbul, Maroon Oriole, White-hooded Babbler, Nepal House Martin, Sultan Tit, Black-winged Cuckoo shrike, White-browed Shrike Babble,. Ashy Drongo, Yellow-cheeked Tit, Red-tailed Minla, Nepal Fulvetta, Golden Babbler, Grey-throated Babbler, Slender-billed Scimitar Babbler, Chestnut-crowned Warbler, Yellow-vented Warbler, Striated Yuhina, Streaked Spider hunter, Large Wood shrike and Crimson Sunbird.

 

2. Hunting Hoots: Tingtibe – Buli via Dakpai

Bird watching in sub-tropical broadleaved forest. You will drive along the road and stop on the way for birding. Evening, come back to Tingtibe for night halt.
